Behind every course, every decision, and every strategic step stands a board of leaders committed to the integrity, sustainability, and mission of Jethro Academy.
President
Dr. Lesly Jules brings over three decades of pastoral, academic, and organizational leadership to Jethro Academy. Trained with a PhD in Change Management, an MBA, and an MA in Christian Apologetics, he has served churches, institutions, and communities across Haiti and the Haitian diaspora.
His vision — that the Haitian church deserves world-class formation, rigorous governance, and practical tools for lasting impact — is the founding conviction of Jethro Academy. He is the architect of the Academy’s curriculum philosophy: every framework tested against Scripture, every tool ready for implementation on Monday morning.
As President of the governing board, Dr. Jules provides strategic oversight and theological grounding to every program the Academy offers. His leadership reflects the same principle he teaches: structure is not a constraint on faith — it is the vessel through which faith endures.
Each board member brings a unique gift to the governance of Jethro Academy — rooted in a shared commitment to the Haitian church and its leaders.
Stan Wiebe has dedicated over four decades of his life to the people of Haiti. As co-founder of Hearts and Hands for Haiti (HHH) in 2006, he has built deep relationships with Haitian church leaders, communities, and organizations across the country. His long-standing commitment to sustainable development, partnership-building, and Christ-centered service makes him an invaluable voice on the Jethro Academy board. Stan brings institutional credibility, cross-cultural wisdom, and a heart shaped by decades of frontline ministry.
Hannah Stucker is the co-founder of The Bridge Ministries, established in 2019 to create meaningful connections between North American churches and Haitian communities. Her work is rooted in a deep conviction that lasting change in Haiti requires genuine partnership — not charity alone. As Secretary of the Jethro Academy board, Hannah brings administrative clarity, relational intelligence, and a commitment to sustainable, dignity-centered ministry.
Seige Poteau is a visionary leader who combines pastoral ministry with technological expertise. As the founder of Calvary Chapel Port-au-Prince and Université Espoir, he has built institutions that serve Haitian communities spiritually and educationally. With an MS in Computer Science, Seige brings a rare combination of spiritual vision and systems thinking to the Jethro Academy board — helping the Academy remain both theologically grounded and institutionally excellent.
Elder Eris Labady has served the body of Christ since 1978, ordained to pastoral ministry in 1981. With decades of experience as a pastor, educator, and translator, he represents the deep roots of Haitian church tradition on the Jethro Academy board. His commitment to the local church — across generations and across languages — brings a grounded, wise, and deeply experienced perspective to the governance of the Academy.
The board exists to ensure that every program, every partnership, and every resource invested serves the mission it was meant to serve.
